ASBESTOS/LEAD-CONTAINING PAINT
MartinEnviro can provide the following services for Asbestos and Lead-Containing Paint:
- Surveys
- Operation and Management Plans

CHEMICAL EXPOSURE
MartinEnviro's trained staff can monitor chemical exposure in air and other mediums. By using state of the art technologies and the most current sampling methodologies, we can determine the level of chemical exposure in the workplace and evaluate the results with respect to OSHA and ACGIH exposure limits. MartinEnviro can then make the appropriate recommendations for your facility. Evaluation and control of chemical exposure in the workplace are major components of an effective Safety and Health Program.
Everyone who works with chemicals should know the chemical name, as well as brand or trade name of each chemical or chemical mixture, their health hazards, and other hazards such as fire or explosion. Employers are required by law to provide this information, along with training in how to use chemicals safely. MartinEnviro can develop written Hazard Communication Standard (Hazcom) procedures for all activities involving chemicals, including how to handle spills.

INDOOR AIR QUALITY SAMPLING/EVALUATIONS
Concerns regarding Indoor Air quality (IAQ) have been on the rise in the recent years as energy conservation measures have come to the forefront. IAQ, a term referring to the air quality within and around buildings and structures, can be affected by microbial contaminants (mold, bacteria), gases (including carbon monoxide, radon, and volatile organic compounds), particulates, or other contaminants that can induce adverse health conditions. MartinEnviro can design a sample planning, evaluate the data, provide a corrective action plan, and manage the abatement and remediation process, whether for a homeowner or a large manufacturing complex.

MOLD AND MICROBIOLOGICAL SAMPLING & ABATEMENT
Mold, a common IAQ issue, can represent a potentially significant health hazard for building occupants. Mold assessment is the process of identifying the location and extent of the mold hazard in a structure, while mold remediation is the process of removal and/or cleanup of mold from the indoor environmental. Put MartinEnviro's extensive experience in assessment and remediation management to work for you.

HAZARDOUS WASTE OPERATIONS & EMERGENCY RESPONSE (HAZWOPER)
The U.S. OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) regulation (29 CFR 1910.120), which became effective in March of 1990, regulates the safety and health of employees associated with hazardous waste facilities. In 1978, the Love Canal disaster and Valley of the Drums awakened America to the need to control and contain hazardous waste in the United States. Two programs, CERCLA, the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act, and RCRA, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act of 1976 were implemented to deal with these wastes. CERCLA, also known as the Superfund, was designed to deal with already existing waste sites while RCRA was designed to deal with newly generated wastes.
MartinEnviro provides 40 and 24-hour training courses and annual 8-hour refresher courses. Please contact us for additional information on training courses in regards to OSHA’s HAZWOPER regulation.
