Lead-Based Paint Investigations
Residential buildings, water towers, and communications towers are among some of the structures which, if constructed prior to 1978, may contain lead-based paint (LBP). LBP is a major source of lead poisoning and may cause irreversible brain damage, nerve and muscle damage, reproductive problems, increased blood pressure, and mental and physical retardation in infants and fetuses.
M&A can complete LBP surveys in order to accurately ascertain the potential for LBP within a building or structure. Upon detection of any LBP, an abatement or monitoring plan can be devised and coordinated by M&A. |
